Ronn Motors Signs Contract to Purchase Its Present Building as It Transitions to a New Assembly Plant

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - December 3, 2008) - Ronn Motor Company, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: RNNM) has entered into an agreement to purchase its current facility in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

CEO Ronn Maxwell stated, "Our 8,000 square foot facility has been the perfect launching pad for the development of our premium eco-exotic Scorpion™. We have room to add an additional 2,000 square feet in the rear of the facility and there may be an opportunity to acquire some adjacent land if further expansion is warranted. We believe our present location will be adequate to meet our first year production needs. We see this investment as strategic to meeting our first year goals and we feel that the location is perfect for our current needs."

The first year production of the Scorpion™ and Limited Edition Scorpion HX™ will total 200 units. The car made its much-anticipated worldwide debut at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas on November 4th.

Ronn Motor Company has planned a unique assembly strategy for its automobiles by limiting fabrication time through outsourcing key components of the project.

COO Damon Kuhn said, "We want to utilize best practice partners for time consuming components like body, interior and chassis production. By having engine, suspension, and electrical sub assemblies ready in advance, we can add the most value through the quality assembly of these components and improve build time."

Ronn Maxwell added, "An additional 3,000 square feet of showroom and office space is also planned to be acquired. This additional area will allow us to dedicate the space we need for display, sales and marketing efforts so we may enhance our ability to display the Scorpion™ and related technologies and engage potential clients. Sales and marketing staff for our H2GO™ Real-Time Hydrogen Injection system will also office from the same location."
