BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - June 20, 2008) - Fresh from her recent sold-out tour across the U.S. in the South and West Coast with good pals Brett Dennen and Mason Jennings, Missy Higgins is set to embark on yet another North American tour. This time the dates will encompass the Midwest and North East and see Missy and her band headlining their largest stateside venues to date. Special guest on the tour is labelmate Eric Hutchinson, who will support Missy on tour throughout July/August and whose album "Sounds Like This" was released on Warner Bros. on May 20th.

As always, Missy will continue to keep her tour green by traveling in a bio diesel bus. Besides being named one of Billboard magazine's ten Green Artists in the magazine's "Green" issue, the United Nations profiled Higgins on her eco-initiatives on http://www.un.org/works/sub3.asp?lang=en&id=102 and The Sierra Club has posted Missy's PSA on http://www.sierraclub.org/twopercent/.

On the digital front, Missy's new "Steer EP" is available online now exclusively to iTunes. It features album tracks "Steer," "100 Round the Bends" and special live versions of "All For Believing" and "Where I Stood." Missy has sold over 100,000 tracks on iTunes over recent months driven largely by her songs being featured in TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy," "Smallville," "One Tree Hill," "Brothers & Sisters" and "The Hills."

Missy's sophomore album "On A Clear Night" (produced by Mitchell Froom) has already been certified triple platinum in Australia and seen Missy awarded the 2007 ARIA Award (Australia's Grammy) as the country's "Best Female Artist" for two years in a row. It has yielded a #1 and a top 10 single with "Steer" and "Where I Stood."
