Media Advisory: BC Celebrates 20 Years of Heart Transplantation
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 1, 2008) - Media representatives are invited to attend a press conference on Tuesday, December 2. Physicians, heart transplant recipients and representatives from the Province and BC Transplant will gather to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Heart Transplantation in British Columbia.
It has been 20 years since the first heart transplant was performed in British Columbia. Since then, through continued innovation, and collaboration, over 325 life-saving heart transplants have been performed in the Province.
