OAKMONT, PA--(Marketwire - July 27, 2010) - LPGA golfer Paula Creamer, wearing a perfect combination of pink and white, won the 65th U.S. Women's Open on July 10th, 2010 for her first major championship victory.

After battling an injured wrist, Creamer held her game together and persevered through the pain to finish three under in the tournament.

Creamer, known best as "The Pink Panther," wore a white golf skort coupled with matching pink shirt, hat, and ribbon as well pink-and white golf shoes.

"The combination of bright color and white is a trend that many of the LPGA players are following this season," said Tracey Blake, designer and founder of women's golf clothing company, Tracey Lynn, LLC.

"From a retail standpoint, this same trend is following on and off the course. My Hot Pink Tahiti collection is flying off the shelves because of the pink and white duo."

Many of the U.S. Women's Open players were seen wearing white women's golf skorts in the final round including Suzann Petterson, Christie Kerr and Alexis Thompson. However, Creamer's overall perfect pink look and outstanding composure win her the Sunday's Best title.

Another fashion statement on the course Sunday was red. Na Yeon Choi wore a white long-sleeved shirt with red-and-white plaid print pants, while Brittany Lang paired her navy shorts with a red polo shirt.

"Women absolutely love the reds and pinks this season," said Blake. "Due to the high demand for these colors, two of my new collections -- Hot Pink Tahiti and Twist'd Sister -- have embodied this response."

Blake, who is well-known for her intriguing women's golf clothing designs, uses white, bright colors and patterns in all of her collections. The Tracey Lynn ladies golf apparel line can been seen at www.traceylynngolf.com.

"Using white to complement a bright color is the perfect way to stand out on and off the course," said Blake, who uses white, pink, electric blue, red and lime green in her best-selling collections.
