$20,000 Cash Prize Guaranteed in the Sens Foundation 50/50 Lottery on Nov. 20

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 19, 2008) - The Sens Foundation announced today that fans who attend the Nov. 20 Senators game against the Montreal Canadiens and purchase 50/50 lottery tickets will be have an opportunity to win no less than $20,000 and up to $40,000 - the largest jackpot in the history of the Sens Foundation 50/50 lottery program.

Sens Foundation 50/50 tickets can be purchased from the time the doors open at Scotiabank Place (5:30 p.m.) up until the end of the first intermission of the hockey game. Tickets are priced at three for $5 and seven for $10, and are available from volunteer ticket sellers in yellow Senators jerseys situated throughout the building.

The Sens Foundation 50/50 lottery program, presented by the Ottawa Citizen and supported by Pizza Pizza, raised more than $640,000 last season for charitable organizations supporting children and youth in the areas of health, education and recreation.

The winning 50/50 ticket number is announced during the third period of each Senators game, with the winning prize available for pickup on the concourse behind section 201.
