North Shore Installs New State-of-the-Art Phone System

EVANSTON, IL--(Marketwire - November 1, 2010) -  These days, there are two types of phone systems; automated systems that make you beg for a real person to pick up soon and "forever systems" where it takes forever for someone to pick up or they put you on hold forever and make you beg that a person will pick up soon. Either way, you often get off the phone frustrated with waiting. At most salvage junk yards you call, you will run into the forever system. North Shore Towing & Recycling has solved this problem. It recently added a new state-of-the-art phone system to its ever expanding technology services. 

This has enabled the company to better service its salvage junk yard, as well as its wholesale auto parts business. It also allows other salvage junk yards to call North Shore Towing's parts department directly, instead of needing to be transferred. North Shore Towing also has many outlets allowing it to help the public sell their cars for cash.

When you call North Shore, you can now reach any of its departments (including parts, towing, used car sales, car transport services, junk car sales, charity/donation car line, and accounts payable & receivable departments) directly. Each employee also has a new direct line equipped with voicemail to better serve their accounts. No more calling and stating you just got off the phone with someone but do not know who you spoke to. Nor someone just called me from this line. North Shore is now able to organize all calls and direct them to the correct person.

If the department you are trying to reach is not available, the phone system will allow the call to be redirected to more people, or will put you into that department's voicemail. If you reach someone's voicemail but wish to speak to a live person, you may also do this by pressing 0, which will redirect you to someone who can serve you.
