NanoInk Announces Strategic Technology License Acquisition From University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

SKOKIE, IL--(Marketwire - May 4, 2009) - The NanoFabrication Systems Division of NanoInk announced an agreement with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign whereby NanoInk gains access to technology contained in several patents dealing with fabrication of molded tip arrays.

Tom Levesque, Vice President of NanoFabrication Systems, says, "This technology will allow NanoInk to continue to develop our commercial offerings of Dip Pen Nanolithography® (DPN®) capabilities with tip arrays. These dense arrays, with millions of tips performing the DPN process, continue to advance the scalability of our technology. These arrays are a logical extension of our core intellectual property that enables large area and high throughput nanomanufacturing on our DPN instrument platforms."
