MPH Ventures Sampling on Geneva Lake Project Returns 15.9 g/t Gold and on Big Mac Project Returns 12.2 g/t Gold, NE Ontario

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 23, 2009) - MPH Ventures Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MPS) (FRANKFURT:IJA1) (the "Company") provides an exploration update on its 100% owned Geneva Lake and Big Mac properties, both situated in Northeastern Ontario. Assay results have been received from a sampling program, and gold mineralization has been confirmed on both of these projects.

The Geneva Lake property, located 40 km north of Sudbury, Ontario, is situated in an area with relatively limited historical gold exploration. A sampling program was conducted on a gold occurrence hosted within a sedimentary formation.  Four grab samples were collected from the showing which consists of clasts of massive sulphides within a conglomerate unit. Assay results indicate appreciable gold contents of 15.9 g/t Au, 10.4 g/t Au, 5.3 g/t Au, and 4.7 g/t Au from the four samples. The high gold content represented by these results suggests immediate exploration potential within the conglomerate unit. A larger regional exploration program exploring for the bedrock source of the sulphide clasts is planned.

The Big Mac Property, located 60 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario, hosts an historical gold showing with reported assay results of up to 23.0 g/t Au from a quartz vein, and up to 16.7 g/t Au from the surrounding volcanics. Sixteen grab samples were recently taken from the property, with assays up to 12.2 g/t Au from the quartz vein, and assays up to 7.5 g/t Au from the surrounding volcanics. These results confirm the historical reported assays, and indicate an exploration target beyond the extent of the quartz vein.

MPH Ventures intends to complete detailed sampling, prospecting, geological mapping and mechanical trenching to further define these promising gold targets.
