OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 20, 2010) - In conjunction with Canadian Interuniversity Sport and Scotiabank Place, the host organizing committee for the 2010 CIS Final 8 Men's Basketball Championship presented by Milk this evening announced that a total of 21,006 fans attended the tournament's semifinal sessions on Saturday at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. Today's figure brings the two-day total to 41,942.
Two teams remain in the hunt for the W.P. McGee Trophy, which will be presented to the national champion following Sunday's final between the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
