WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 22, 2008) - MKS Inc. (TSX:MKX), today announced that it will report results for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 to coincide with its Annual Investor Presentation and Update (AIP) to be held in Toronto at approximately 4:00 pm EST on September 3, 2008.

MKS holds its Annual Meetings at its Waterloo headquarters (this year at 4:00 p.m. EST on August 26, 2008) and a subsequent Annual Investor Presentation and Update in downtown Toronto for the convenience of institutional and retail shareholders. The AIP is open to shareholders and prospective shareholders alike.

Commencing this year, MKS intends to schedule its Annual Investor Presentation and Update to coincide with the release of its first quarter results and to replace the normal quarterly conference call. While the company does not intend to broadcast the presentation, it will be available on the MKS Web site on September 4, 2008.
