Microlog Wins Contract From Aberdeen Proving Ground for Service First® Upgrade
GERMANTOWN, MD--(Marketwire - October 17, 2008) - Microlog Corporation (PINKSHEETS: MLOG), a
Germantown, Maryland based technology leader in Integrated Voice Response
(IVR) and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions for the
Government, Healthcare and lotteries has been awarded a contract from the
Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) to upgrade their patient appointment system
at Kirk U.S. Army Health Clinic. Based in Maryland, APG is home to 66
tenants and a host of satellite activities.
The contract calls for a system upgrade and expansion of capabilities.
Included in the award are upgrades to the core system, including software
and hardware upgrades. The newest version of Microlog's PAS comes with
additional tools for agents and administrators, as well as, increased
reporting capabilities. Enhanced redundancies and a disaster recovery
solution round out the new system. The new system design is compliant with
recently adopted standards from MEDCOM. APG is a long term customer of
Microlog's and along with their PAS and Disaster Recovery solutions uses
Microlog's TeleReminder™, a multimedia outbound follow-up, reminder and
messaging service.
Among the major tenants of APG are the U.S. Research, Development and
Engineering (RDECOM) , U.S. Army Ordnance Center and Schools, U.S. Army
Developmental Test Command, U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center, U.S. Army
Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, Northeast Region
Civilian Personnel Operations Center, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute
of Chemical Defense, U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency and major elements
of the Army Research Laboratory.
