WHEN: From Monday to Friday, October 6 to 10

WHERE: Quebec City's Convention Centre

Each day will begin with conferences and round tables:

- Monday 6, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Panel of the continents

How do communities take advantage of leisure for their social, cultural, economic and environmental development?

- Tuesday 7, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM

Leisure: plurality, identity, solidarity

How to factor in plurality and diversity while preserving identity and solidarity? Speakers: Gaetan Morency, from the Cirque du Soleil, and Scott Haldane, from Greater Toronto's YMCA.

- Wednesday 8, from 9 AM to 11 AM

Leisure: public and private space

In the broad sense of its meaning, does leisure promote individualism or is it the creator of social and community ties? Speaker: Mr. Jean-Paul L'Allier, Honorary Chairman of the congress

- Thursday 9, from 9 AM to 11 AM

Leisure: prevention, health and quality of life

How and under what conditions can communities benefit from leisure's strengths with respect to prevention, health and quality of life? Speakers: Suzanne Lareau, President and General Manager of Velo Quebec, Dr. Alain Poirier (MSSS), Norma Stumbo, Ph. D., Midwest Alliance in Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

- Friday 10, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM

Summary

Proclamation of the "Quebec Declaration", closing ceremonies and passing on of the flag to representatives of ChunCheon, Korea, host city of the World Leisure Congress 2010.
