Media Advisory: The Distribution of Capital Expenditures Between Longueuil And The Four Reconstituted Municipalities

BROSSARD, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 14, 2006) - The mayor of Brossard, Mr. Jean-Marc Pelletier, is inviting the media to a press conference where he will release information and data clearly showing that the municipalities of Brossard, Boucherville, Saint-Bruno and Saint-Lambert are at a serious disadvantage within the Agglomeration of Longueuil.

He will disclose how the budget for three-year capital expenditures program and the financing of public equipment have been apportioned between Longueuil and the four reconstituted municipalities.

The press conference will be held Wednesday, March 15, 11:00 a.m., at City Hall's Council Chamber, 2001 Rome Boulevard, at the north intersection with Taschereau Boulevard.
