Media Advisory-SEIU to Rally at the Office of MPP Rick Bartolucci, Re:Looming Home Care Strike

SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2009) - Home care workers, members of Service Employees International Union, Local 1 will hold a rally at the office of Rick Bartolucci, MPP, Sudbury on March 13th at 12:00 pm to call for urgent reforms to the home care system to prevent a province- wide strike.

The rally, part of a campaign aptly named Running On Empty, will underscore the problems faced by families of those in need of home care and home care workers in Sudbury and across Ontario.
