Maxim and Anpec Settle DirectDrive® Patent Litigation; Anpec Acquires License for Maxim's U.S. Family of DirectDrive Patents

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - October 30, 2008) - Maxim Integrated Products (NASDAQ: MXIM) announced that a settlement has been reached in the patent infringement lawsuit that it filed against Taiwan-based Anpec Electronics Corporation on August 27, 2007.
