Expansion of Partner and Principal Group Supports Ongoing Commitment to Providing Clients With Expertise in Range of Industries and Disciplines
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 15, 2009) - Accounting firm Marks Paneth & Shron LLP (MP&S) today announced that, effective January 1, 2009, the firm added four new partners and one principal. The new partners and principal have significant expertise and experience in real estate, tax consulting and planning, auditing, trusts and estates, planning for high-net-worth individuals and matrimonial issues.
MP&S is one of the tri-state area's 15 largest accounting firms. It serves large businesses, including privately owned companies, as well as high-net-worth individuals, and provides a full range of auditing, accounting, tax, bankruptcy and restructuring services as well as litigation and corporate financial advisory services to domestic and international clients.

The new partners and principal are:
- Michael J. Fosorile, CPA, partner (37) is a member of the Audit and Accounting Group at MP&S, where he focuses on providing accounting and audit, as well as tax services to clients in a variety of industries -- including financial services, manufacturing, retail and media and entertainment. Mr. Fosorile joined MP&S in 1999. He had previously worked in industry as an internal accountant for a mortgage company. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the NY State Society of CPAs. Mr. Fosorile is a resident of Massapequa, New York.
- Bradley D. McKinney, CPA, partner (38) specializes in tax and financial planning, with a particular focus on the real estate industry. He also provides advisory and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, family owned businesses, senior executives at publicly traded companies and real estate professionals. In addition, he consults with clients on various tax, business and financial topics that arise during divorce. Prior to joining MP&S, Mr. McKinney was with a Big Four firm where he focused on tax and financial planning services. He has published articles on tax implications for divorcing couples and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arkansas Society of CPAs and the Financial Divorce Association, among others. He holds a BS from Louisiana Tech University and is a resident of Manhattan.
- Sara Rabi, CPA, partner (36) specializes in individual and fiduciary tax preparation and advisory services. She has extensive experience working with estates, trusts and high-net-worth individuals. Ms. Rabi serves a broad base of clients ranging from corporate executives to family business owners. As a member of the IRS Relations Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ms. Rabi plays an active role in advocating for the interests of the tax practitioner community. She has also recently served as co-chair of the Society's IRS Practice and Procedures Conference. Prior to joining MP&S, Ms. Rabi was with Big Four firms working in several individual and fiduciary tax positions. Ms. Rabi holds a BS in Accounting from Touro College and resides in Brooklyn, New York.
- Abe Schlisselfeld, EA, principal (35) provides tax and consulting services to commercial and residential real estate clients, including real estate management firms and REITs. He also has expertise in multi-state taxation and in tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. Mr. Schlisselfeld joined MP&S in 1996. He is a member of the New York Multistate Taxation Committee, the New York State Society of CPAs and the National Association of Enrolled Agents. He holds a BS from Touro College and resides in Spring Valley, New York.
- Alexander X. Wang, CPA, partner (41) is a member of the corporate tax group at MP&S. He has expertise in federal, state, local and international corporate taxes and provides tax consulting, planning and compliance services to publicly traded and privately held multinational companies in a range of industries. He has extensive experience meeting the tax compliance and planning needs of corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals. Prior to joining MP&S, Mr. Wang was with Big Four firms and Fortune 500 companies working in various tax management positions. He holds a BS in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and an MS in Taxation from Baruch College of the City University of NY. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the NY State Society of CPAs and resides in Forest Hills, New York.
