MPVC Inc. Announces Closing of the Sale of All of Its Assets

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 24, 2008) - MPVC Inc. ("MPVC" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:OCI) announced that it has completed the sale of all of its assets and the transfer of all of its liabilities (other than those liabilities specifically excluded) (the "Transaction") to OC Communications Group Inc. ("OCGI") all as more fully disclosed in a press release dated November 13, 2008. The disinterested shareholders of the Company approved the Transaction by way of a special resolution which was passed at a special meeting of the shareholders of the Company held on December 15, 2008.

As a result of the Transaction, the Company will no longer meet the requirements for continued listing on Tier 2 of the TSX Venture Exchange and effective Monday December 29, 2008 the Company's common shares will begin trading on the NEX under the symbol "OCI.H".
