Lingerie Football League Goes International

2010 LFL All-Star Game to Be Hosted in Monterrey, Mexico

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - June 7, 2010) -  Lingerie Football League (or 'LFL') officials are excited to announce the 2010 LFL All-Fantasy Game (All-Stars) has been awarded to Monterrey, Mexico's Monterrey Arena and will be played on Thursday, June 10th. The all-star game will feature the best of the eastern conference and western conferences of the LFL.

The All-Fantasy Game will mark the end of the inaugural season of play in the LFL which hosted (18) regular season games, (2) conference playoffs and the annual Lingerie Bowl. Through the 2009/2010 season the LFL drew 30% higher than projected attendance with several near capacity crowds, 2nd in Primetime television ratings, record internet traffic and 2010 expansion market teams.

London, Tokyo and Toronto were in the final round of bidding prior to Monterrey, Mexico being chosen by league officials. "The league chose Mexico because our fans South of the Border have passionately supported LFL football this inaugural season with incredible television viewership in Mexico. Taking our game international this season as well as the interest we are drawing for the 2011 All-Fantasy Game is a great affirmation that LFL football transcends borders," said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Lingerie Football League. League offices are already in negotiation with London, South Africa, Toronto, and an Osaka-Seoul-Beijing bid to host the 2011 LFL All-Fantasy Game.

The Dallas Desire led the western conference with (7) player making the roster while the Tampa Breeze led the eastern conference with (8) player nominations.
