Lighthouse Imaging Announces New Endoscope System Illumination Tester at MEDICA Trade Show

Endolume Enables Biomedical Professionals to Quickly and Safely Test Endoscopic Systems Prior to Procedures; Will Be on Display at MEDICA Hall 3, Booth D15-2 Nov. 17-20

PORTLAND, ME--(Marketwire - November 5, 2010) -  Lighthouse Imaging Corporation announces a new instrument that enables hospital clinical engineering staff to quickly troubleshoot endoscope system illumination and identify the true source of a problem. Endolume™ is a portable handheld device that measures the luminous intensity of endoscopic system light sources as well as light transmission through light cables and rigid or flexible endoscopes. The device will be on display at the MEDICA trade show in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 17 - 20.

The Endolume instrument kit consists of a custom-designed integrating sphere and light detector, precision light meter, and adapters to connect with all endoscopic equipment common in medical institutions. The meter displays directly in lumens. A rigid carrying case is included.

Endolume will be on display and available for demonstration in Hall 3, D15-2 at MEDICA in Dusseldorf, Germany during the week of November 17-20, 2010. Medica is the world's largest forum for inpatient and outpatient medicine.
