Leatt Corporation Litigation Update

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - January 23, 2009) - Leatt Corporation, a Nevada corporation (PINKSHEETS: LEAT)("Company"), announced today that the Company has been named as one of twelve defendants in a 2008 lawsuit filed in Superior Court of the State of California (Los Angeles County). The plaintiff is alleging breach of warranty and product liability claims against the Company. The Company believes that the lawsuit is without merit and the Company will vigorously defend against this lawsuit. Company's insurer has appointed legal counsel to defend the lawsuit.
