MINNEAPOLIS, MN and ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - July 10, 2009) - Twin Cities' television viewers will see a familiar face next week, when meteorologist Paul Douglas returns to the KARE 11 Backyard.

Douglas will reunite with KARE meteorologist Belinda Jensen, Monday, July 13, at 10 p.m., to introduce KARE Weather NOW (KARE Wx NOW), a 24/7 local and regional weather channel available on TV and online.

KARE Weather NOW combines the talents of Belinda Jensen, Sven Sundgaard and the rest of the KARE weather team, along with Paul Douglas and meteorologists from his company, WeatherNation.

KARE Weather NOW is also available online, streamed live 24 hours a day at www.KARE11.com.

KARE Weather NOW can be found over-the-air on the digital channel, 11.2. Comcast subscribers in Minneapolis can find it on cable channel 216. In St. Paul, Comcast subscribers can find it on cable channel 249. It's also available for Mediacom subscribers on cable channel 111 and for Charter subscribers on cable channel 391. KARE Weather NOW is currently not available on DirecTV or the DISH Network.
