The site, RosemaryHallgarten.com, now offers visitors purchasing capability and a rich customer experience within an easy to navigate user environment.

"During our work on the site, we wanted to keep the focus on creating a user experience that matches the elegance and luxury of Rosemary Hallgarten's products," said Dan Ventura, principal at KG Partners. "This site accomplishes that goal while offering improved search engine optimization, interactive features like Flash-based product zoom, and the ability to purchase select products online, which wasn't possible with the previous site."

KG Partners developed the custom e-commerce website in just over three months using primarily XHTML, JavaScript and CSS. The site also features a custom content management system (CMS), which allows for collaborative content creation. Using the CMS, Rosemary Hallgarten's content creators can easily publish new or updated content to the site, add/remove products and make small design changes with basic technical knowledge.

"It was important to me that the site allow visitors to experience my designs as if they were standing in my studio," said Rosemary Hallgarten, company founder and textile designer. "Now, they can purchase select products online and also see the intricate details and craftsmanship of the designs -- right down to the single-fiber level, which is really exciting.
