John Bell Appointed as Chairman of the Board

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - October 10, 2008) - JER Envirotech International Corp. (TSX-V: JER) (FRANKFURT: KFTB) ("JER") wishes to announce that Mr. John Bell has been appointed as Chairman of the Board in place of Mr. Sokhie Puar effective immediately.

Mr. Puar will continue to act as a Director of the Company.
