ItalianCarFest Returns to Grapevine, Texas to Celebrate Passion and Style of Fine Italian Autos

GRAPEVINE, TX--(Marketwire - July 1, 2009) - Beautiful cars will once again grace North Texas when the Italian Car Club of the Southwest hosts its ItalianCarFest Invitational 2009 on Sept. 12, 2009, in Grapevine, Texas. After a short hiatus, the show will be held at historic Nash Farm and feature 85 cars and 15 two-wheeled masterpieces by Italian manufacturers. Entry forms are available at www.ItalianCarFest.org. General admission and parking at ItalianCarFest 2009 will be free.

"Passion for Italian cars burns strong in the Southwest, especially here in North Texas," said ItalianCarFest chairman, Bob Dezzany. "We're excited to return to Grapevine and look forward to a great show. ItalianCarFest is one of the largest events of its kind in the region and attracts some of the most fantastic vintage and contemporary vehicles from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, DeTomaso, Alfa, FIAT and others. The cars on display will be simply amazing."

Awards at the event will include Best of Show, Best of Class honors and a Mayor's Choice Award to be presented by Mayor William D. Tate of Grapevine. ItalianCarFest will be held at Nash Farm, a 150-year-old farmstead located in the heart of downtown Grapevine. Vendors will offer everything from Italian sandwiches to Italian gelato, while enthusiasts can also browse and purchase automotive fine art from celebrated artist, Bill Neale. The event is scheduled the weekend before Grapevine's acclaimed wine celebration, GrapeFest, to give visitors more than a week of food, spirits, elegant cars and family fun (www.GrapevineTexasUSA.com).

"Grapevine has been extremely supportive throughout the planning process," added Dezzany. "With several city events surrounding our show, ItalianCarFest is just one of the many reasons to visit Grapevine this September."

ItalianCarFest is produced by the Italian Car Club of the Southwest, a non-profit organization formed to share and promote a passion for Italian automobiles while giving back to North Texas communities.
