Invitation-RONA 2008 Investors Day

BOUCHERVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2008) - RONA Inc. (TSX:RON)

RONA President and CEO Robert Dutton and members of the RONA management team invite you to the RONA 2008 Investors Day, which will take place February 27 at the Sofitel, 1155 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal. At this event we will unveil RONA's 2008-2011 Strategic Plan.

The Investors Day is a two-part event. The first part will include presentations and a luncheon, while the second part will consist in a guided tour of our new-concept store located in the Quartier DIX30 lifestyle shopping center in Brossard, on the South Shore of Montreal.

Part 1: Presentations and Luncheon (9:15 AM to 1:30 PM):

- 2004-2007 retrospective and review of market conditions

- Presentation on new trends among Canadian consumers

- Unveiling of the RONA 2008-2011 Strategic Plan

- Luncheon with the management team

Part 2: Guided tour of our new-concept store located in the Quartier DIX30 lifestyle shopping center (2:00 PM to 3:30 PM)

Please note that travel by coach will be organized by RONA, leaving from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. Registered participants will also receive our detailed schedule of the day's activities in advance.
