BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 15, 2010) - International Forest Products
Limited ("Interfor"
or the "Company") (TSX:IFP.A) announced today it has completed the acquisition
of a timber tenure in the Kamloops Region from Weyerhaeuser Company Limited
following an extended period of regulatory review.
The
tenure represents an Allowable Annual Cut (AAC) of approximately 275,000 cubic
metres and will help solidify the timber supply for the Company's new Adams
Lake sawmill which commenced full operations in April 2009.
