TSE SYMBOL: IFN FEBRUARY 9, 2000 Informission Strengthens Management Team With Online Marketing Specialists MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Mr. Alexandre Taillefer, Chief Strategy Officer of Informission Group Inc., a subsidiary of the Quebecor Inc. group, is pleased to announce new appointments to the company's senior management team. The following members of newly acquired digIT Interactive Inc., specialists in digital branding and marketing channel management, will become vice-presidents in Informission's growing e-business organisation: Mr. Nathan Rudyk, Vice-President, Retail Solutions As Vice-President, Retail Solutions, Nathan Rudyk will develop e-commerce solutions in the retail sector, capitalising on the synergies with other members of the Quebecor family. Mr. Rudyk has acquired extensive marketing experience as a strategic marketing consultant for international organisations with large distribution networks and e-commerce ambitions. In the 1980s he was Vice-President of Bedford House publishing, a Toronto-based magazine publisher. Prior to serving as digIT's President from 1996-2000, he was co-founder of Mindshare Marketing Group Inc., a high-tech marketing consultancy that served clients such as EDS Canada, IBM Canada, Microsoft Canada and Xerox Canada. He is a contributing author to Marketing Masters: The Best Ideas, Tips & Strategies from Canada's Savviest Marketers, a technology marketing lecturer at Algonquin College and a frequent speaker at Internet marketing and technology conferences. Mr. Mark Jodoin, Vice-President, Marketing As Vice-President, Marketing, Mark Jodoin will be responsible for Informission's global marketing strategy and for ensuring the dynamic company is known for its ability to deliver innovative and efficient solutions that respond to client needs. Mr. Jodoin headed digIT's business development function and has 12 years of high tech marketing experience, including five years at Cognos. He began his career in broadcast journalism with TVOntario and Global Television in Toronto. His new media experience includes initiating business development for North Communications, the worldwide pioneer of multimedia kiosk networks, and for DVS Communications, an innovator in the field of educational multimedia content development. Ian Clifford, Vice-President, Channel Management Solutions As Vice-President, Channel Management Solutions, Ian Clifford will be responsible for promoting Informission's end-to-end Web solutions, while demonstrating to clients how to integrate the Internet with other distribution channels. His deep experience in enterprise-wide solutions strategy and project implementation was leveraged at digIT Interactive for relationship marketing and sales systems. Ian was also one of the premier commercial photographers in Toronto, garnering numerous awards for work that energised annual reports, billboards and other communications media. In addition, digIT's Marek Warunkiewicz will be joining Toronto-based EntreVision, recently acquired by Informission. Mr. Warunkiewicz' 20 years of design experience and impressive portfolio will be important assets that will benefit the Web solutions team at EntreVision. digIT Interactive Inc.
