NEW ORLEANS, LA--(Marketwire - November 3, 2008) - TDWI World Conference -- Infobright, the open source data warehousing company, today announced the availability of a new optimized connector for loading the Infobright Data Warehouse using Pentaho Data Integration. Pentaho Data Integration is the extract, transform, and load (ETL) component of Pentaho's flagship commercial open source business intelligence (BI) suite which also provides reporting, analysis, dashboards and data mining.

The new connector, available for Infobright Enterprise Edition, allows organizations to avoid interim data processing steps like flat-file creation, instead streaming data directly from the Pentaho Data Integration engine directly into the Infobright data loader.
