VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 22, 2008) - The Hain Celestial Canada team takes to Vancouver streets, as eight performer 'athletes' create a spectacular travelling pantomime, mirroring some of the most popular Summer and Winter Olympic sports. Set to the stirring pulses of Aboriginal drumming, the performance marks Hain Celestial Canada's new status as an Official Supplier of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

On July 22nd, performer 'athletes' - including an alpine skier, hockey player, boxer, baseball player, tennis player, volleyball player and curler - will re-enact in slow motion their respective sport, capturing the public's imagination while embracing the three pillars that the upcoming Games proudly highlight: sport, culture and sustainability.

Embarking on a 90-minute, slow motion re-enactment tour, the Hain Celestial Canada team leaps out of the starting gate at 12:30pm at Granville Street and West Georgia Street. As the team slowly winds its way through Granville Street and Robson Street, passers-by will enjoy Hain Celestial Canada treats. The performer 'athletes' will cross the finish line at 2pm at Hornby Street and West Georgia Street, bringing to a close an animated spectacle that epitomizes the spirit of the Olympic Games, inspiring onlookers and underlining Hain Celestial Canada's commitment to this enduring tradition.
