HRDQ Unveils New Edition of What's My Communication Style?
Third Edition of Company's Best-Selling Training Instrument Now Available
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2008) - HRDQ, a leading developer of training
resources, today announced the release of the third edition of What's My
Communication Style?, its best-selling communication assessment. Founded
on the research and personality theories of psychologists including Carl
Jung and William Moulton Marston, the company's flagship product has been
updated to reflect the most recent normative data and best practices.
Available in printed and electronic formats, What's My Communication
Style?, third edition, offers an accurate and reliable way to quickly
identify personal communication style, understand the various forms of
communication, pinpoint the styles of others, and learn how to 'flex'
personal style to improve communication. "The new edition was updated based
on client input and developed with our end users in mind," said Martin
Delahoussaye, HRDQ's Vice President, Publishing. "The end result is a more
robust training instrument that is uniformly functional across various
training initiatives and methods of delivery."
Enhancements to the instrument include design and material organization
changes, as well as increased subject and background information.
Facilitators benefit from updated technical development data, new workshop
outlines and agendas, and information for simultaneous use of the printed
and electronic versions. Participant materials include expanded
information on the background of communication styles and their attributes,
and integrated personality style charts designed to help participants
"speed read" the styles of others.
"Used as a stand-alone assessment, as a component of a larger training
initiative, or facilitated as a workshop, What's My Communication Style?
creates an excellent foundation for open communication, and our clients
report its relevance, flexibility, and results make it an indispensable
part of their training curriculum," said Delahoussaye. "Whatever the
training need or delivery method, facilitators can trust the instrument to
provide the most recent and useful information that drives immediately
applicable results."
