Global Earth Energy, Inc. Signs LOI; Plans to Install a Biodiesel Production Plant
BUFFALO, NY--(Marketwire - December 11, 2008) - Global Earth Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: GEEG)
("Global" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it signed a Letter of
Intent, or LOI, with "ADI," the owners of a chemical plant near
Wilmington, North Carolina. The LOI outlines Global's plans to install a
one million gallon per year ("MGY") biodiesel production site located on a
chemical plant in Leland, NC.
Global will rent the land necessary to produce 1 to 5 MGY of biodiesel, an
alternative green energy fuel made from domestic and renewable resources
such as soybean and vegetable oils. Global and ADI will agree that ADI will
operate the plant and Global will sell the produced biodiesel under a
production and fuels blending agreement.
The plant is strategically located in North Carolina to take advantage of
the favorable climate, feedstock supplies and strong local demand. The
southeast United States offers significant financial incentives to support
the production of biodiesel.
Sydney Harland, President and CEO, commented, "ADI has a long standing
reputation in the chemical plant construction and operation fields. I am
extremely optimistic and excited to embark on an agreement with ADI. With
the leasing of ADI's site, I believe Global can be a market leader offering
the most cost effective, scalable and adaptive approach to biodiesel
production."
