Global Earth Energy Enters Into Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar Contract With Aqua Solar Limited
Valued to Increase Sales by Over $5 Million in the Next 12 Months
WILMINGTON, NC--(Marketwire - August 2, 2010) - Global Earth Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: GLER) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary RCI Solar, Inc., a leading North American provider of renewable energy solutions for the residential, commercial and industrial markets, has signed an affiliate marketing agreement with Aqua Solar Limited, a premier provider of solar thermal and solar photo voltaic (PV) solutions based in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.
Together, the companies are positioned to serve new demand under the government-funded renewable energy programs, Ontario MicroFit and FIT. These programs are designed to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy on a local level across the province of Ontario. Owners of these projects will be paid a fixed price for the electricity they produce. RCI / Aqua Solar projects eligible for these programs will receive a long-term contract for the payment of electricity produced from the renewable energy project and a fixed price for the full term of the contract. As of July 1, 2010, Aqua Solar has agreed to purchase no less than $1,000,000 in product orders from RCI Solar over the next 12-months.
"This multi-million dollar provincial project can provide guaranteed income for over 20 years for all eligible participants," said Syd Harland, CEO of Global Earth Energy. "RCI Solar, through its affiliation with Aqua Solar, is now strategically positioned to capitalize on this major push to bring green energy to our local communities. RCI estimates that sales will exceed over $5 million in its first year of operations with revenue increases of 10% to 15% in the second year and the subsequent years."
"We are pleased and excited to partner with a first-class organization such as Aqua Solar," commented Jeff Hoogveld, Operations Manager of RCI Solar. "This partnership provides considerable expansion of our product line along with our distribution network, while providing end users with local support, service and maintenance requirements."
The two companies will collaborate and combine their respective technologies and services to meet growing market demand for eco-friendly, sustainable electric power solutions in Canada. Aqua Solar will market end-to-end sustainable energy solutions to consumers through its established distribution network of affiliates in Southern Ontario and associations within the local communities.
