MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 25, 2011) - Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GER)("Glen Eagle Resources" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the 4,000 meter diamond drill program has commenced on the Authier Lithium project near Val D'or. The objectives of the new program is to increase the resources of the main Authier Lithium deposit and to test new targets. The updated 43-101 compliant resource estimate for the Authier Lithium deposit will be released soon.

To increase the deposit resources, the Company will drill the western extension of the deposit on 50 m sections as well as the extension of the known deposit to depth. In addition, some exploration holes will be drilled on a new potentially lithium bearing pegmatite structure located at about 400 meters north of the main deposit where 10 meters of lithium bearing pegmatite was historically reported to have been encountered in hole LG-07. The extensions of this structure were never followed historically however, new geological and geophysical interpretations indicate that the structure can be as long as 2.2 km.
