Gemini Secures First Commercial Thermal Hydrolysis / Biogas Production Project

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 6, 2007) - Gemini Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GKX) is pleased to announce it has received approval to proceed into the detailed engineering, fabrication and construction phases of a biogas cogeneration facility located in the Lethbridge, Alberta area.

The project, due to be completed in early 2009, is the first of its kind whereby biogas production is enhanced through the use of Thermal Hydrolysis technology, a cutting-edge high temperature, high pressure process piloted by the Corporation over the past several years. Thermal Hydrolysis technology has recently been approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for the safe destruction of SRM material and as such, provides significant and much needed support for North America's beef industry. This technology enables a facility to redirect waste material, previously shipped to landfills, into a valuable feedstock for the generation of electricity and thermal energy. This eliminates the release of methane into the environment and the resultant solids are approved for use as a land amendment rather than re-entering the waste stream. In addition, it enhances the biogas production process by more than 25%, which improves the overall economics of a facility.

"We are very pleased that this project has successfully advanced through the approval process", stated Carl Johnson, Gemini's President and CEO. "We're looking forward to making our mark in the alternative energy industry through incorporation of this technology into future facilities. We are proceeding with the approval process on a second project and have identified several other opportunities that could further expand our business in this industry. This is an important technical and commercial development for both the North American beef industry and the alternative energy industry. We are proceeding to further expand the application of this technology to enhance the economics of biogas production and provide viable waste management alternatives."
