Given by the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce, the award honors and highlights the accomplishments and contributions of family businesses that made an impact in the San Fernando Valley business community. The award was given at the 97th Inaugural Ball held at CBS Studios in Studio City and hosted by "Today in LA" anchor Chris Schauble.

Both Kristin Dietz and Shawn Smith were on hand to accept the award which they dedicated to their father, Philip "Flip" Smith. "Since we were children, our father taught us to treat people with honesty and integrity.
