FishNet Security Releases Computer-Based Training for Application Developers
KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwire - September 30, 2008) - FishNet Security's training services
department, Secure Skills, offers computer-based training for application
developers.
"As businesses continue to migrate more of their applications to the web,
malicious attacks on web applications are rapidly increasing. Our new
computer-based training allows companies to be well-versed in the most
common methods of attacks available to an Internet assailant and how to
stop those attacks, which ultimately helps ensure sensitive data is not
compromised," said Jeff Bennett, EVP of Strategic Solutions for FishNet
Security.
This series provides an overview of eight common types of attacks and
explains vulnerabilities and proactive remediation steps within each
chapter. The chapters for application security training include: forceful
browsing, data modification in hidden fields, exploiting information
leakage, client-side logic subversion, command injection, session
hijacking, cross-site scripting, and cross-site request forgery.
FishNet Security currently offers several types of computer-based training
and has intentions of releasing more security related training in the
future.
