EP Global Communications, Inc. President and CEO, Joseph M. Valenzano, Jr., to Be Honored With 2009 Humanitarian Award

JOHNSTOWN, PA--(Marketwire - February 2, 2009) - EP Global Communications, Inc. (the Company) (OTCBB: EPGL), the parent company of Exceptional Parent (EP) magazine, is pleased to announce today that The Colleen Giblin Foundation has named Joseph M. Valenzano, Jr., EP Global Communications, Inc. President and CEO, as the recipient of the organization's 2009 Humanitarian Award. Mr. Valenzano will be presented with the award on March 21st, 2009 at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Mr. Valenzano will be introduced at the event by Darryl DeVivo, MD, Sydney Carter Chair of the Department of Neurology at Columbia University. Mr. Valenzano is a long time supporter of the Colleen Giblin Foundation, a nonprofit foundation whose mission is to search for new treatments and cures for some of the gravest childhood neurological diseases.

Colleen Giblin Foundation officials commented, "Mr. Valenzano will be honored for his lifelong dedication and absolute resolve to make the world a better place for children. As an angel to countless children and adults with disabilities and health challenges, Joe's mission to make a difference is inspirational."

Mr. Valenzano is honored and humbled to be receiving this award and commented: "For years, my wife Pat and I have been coming to this event and have enthusiastically supported it and its mission. The passion, commitment, and dedication of the people at the Colleen Giblin Foundation and its volunteers are remarkable. They have managed to garner the support of professional athletes, physicians, lawyers, people in the entertainment field, music and the arts as well as Corporate Giants. For me to be even mentioned among them is an incredible honor. But to be introduced by someone like Darryl DeVivo, MD of Columbia, whose work on behalf of children with neurological challenges is legendary, is a very humbling experience for me. I am deeply honored."

The Humanitarian Awards banquet will also serve as one of the Foundation's annual fundraising events. Special events like this one are vastly important to the Foundation as approximately 60% of the organization's annual revenue is generated from proceeds from these events. This very proactive approach to fundraising also serves to engender a great amount of excitement about the organization among its many supporters. This year's theme will be "A Night in Italy" and will feature Italian cuisine and décor. And there will also be a "casino night" and silent auction.
