Enterprise Mobile Expands Reach With Move Into New, Larger Texas Facility
Growing Customer Roster and Strong New Business Pipeline Drive Need for More Space Dedicated to Mobility Lifecycle Services
WATERTOWN, MA--(Marketwire - November 2, 2009) - Enterprise Mobile, a provider of outsourced lifecycle services that help enterprises develop, deploy, support and manage mobility strategies, today announced it will move into a new, state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot facility in Plano, Texas in October. The new facility will be staffed with a fast-growing team of mobility operations staff dedicated to delivering the lifecycle services necessary for enterprises to keep their mobile workforce productive and competitive. Those mobile device services include procurement, deployment, depot (replacement and repair), support and recycling, provided for Enterprise Mobile's growing base of enterprise customers.
Enterprise Mobile is moving from its current Texas facility to the larger Plano location to acquire additional space for its deployment and depot labs, a mobile device warehouse and multiple call centers. The company has an option to expand to 38,000 square feet as it continues to manage and support mobile devices for enterprise customers across key verticals such as health care, manufacturing, retail and financial services.
The new facility is in Plano's Research/Technology Crossroads -- an area that boasts a mix of companies in telecommunications (such as Cisco), electronics (including Samsung), information technology, light manufacturing, logistics as well as RFID and nanotech. The area provides a highly qualified pool of talent that will support Enterprise Mobile's needs as the business grows. Employees at the Plano location will leverage state-of-the-art communications technology from Motorola to provide customers with Enterprise Mobile's full range of outsourced services.
"The move into our new facility marks an important growth milestone for Enterprise Mobile," said Mike Anderson, vice president, operations, Enterprise Mobile. "Despite the uncertain economy we've steadily grown the business by exceeding customer expectations by cost effectively deploying, managing and supporting strategic mobility initiatives that impact the bottom line. Our new facility will allow us to process up to 50,000 devices per month for our customers and provide a technology showcase center where we can demonstrate our capabilities, exhibit mobile technologies, and meet with customers and partners."
