DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 29, 2008) - Two Stream Energy (www.streamenergy.net)
representatives have been appointed to ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council
of Texas) Committees and Subcommittees for service in 2009 in the
Independent Retail Electric Provider (IREP) sector.
"Once again, Stream Energy is pleased to be involved in an organization
which addresses electric service interests and issues," said Darrin
Pfannenstiel, Stream Energy's General & Regulatory Counsel.
"Congratulations to all the 2009 IREP Segment Representatives," he added.
Stream Energy managers appointed to 2009 ERCOT service include Director of
Wholesale Power Scheduling, Southern Markets, Brian Berend, who returns to
service on the Wholesale Market Subcommittee and Manager of Settlements,
Wholesale Operations, Pam Carr, on the Protocol Revision Subcommittee.
This is Stream Energy's third year with representation on ERCOT committees
and subcommittees.

percent of the state of Texas, and oversees retail transactions. Stream
Energy's appointments were made through the Independent REP (Retail Energy
Provider) Segment of ERCOT.
Stream Energy
Since being licensed as a Retail Electric Provider by the Public Utilities
Commission in early 2005, privately held Stream Energy has grown rapidly
into one of the largest participants in the Texas deregulated electricity
market, with hundreds of thousands of residential customers. Earlier this
year, Stream Energy expanded its operations into Georgia where the company
provides natural gas for customers in Atlanta and a wide variety of cities
throughout the state. Stream Energy's success is attributable to a
full-service approach to customer relationships, supported by a
customer-advantageous pricing model and the company's network marketing
subsidiary, Ignite. Additional information is available on the Stream
Energy website at www.streamenergy.net.
Ignite, Inc.
Ignite was founded in 2004 to handle marketing of energy for Stream Energy.
When Stream Energy was licensed in 2005 as a Retail Electric Provider in
Texas, Ignite began developing a network of independent associates to
market electricity directly to the families, friends and individuals they
know. Ignite's multi-level marketing strategy was created in order to
provide personal service for customers and to help customers better
understand the benefits of energy deregulation.
