Draftfcb San Francisco Continues Growth Trend, Hires New Media Guru Cricket Wardein as Senior Vice President, Account Director
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - January 27, 2009) - Draftfcb San Francisco announced today that it has hired new media guru Cricket Wardein to lead the agency's EA Games and Kikkoman teams as senior vice president, account director. For Wardein, this is a homecoming of sorts; she previously served as vice president of integrated marketing from 1998-1999 at FCB, during which time she helped pioneer the agency's online marketing practice.
Wardein's 15+-year career includes working with and for some of the world's most innovative organizations and brands including Yahoo! and Gap.
During her six years at Yahoo!, Wardein held several key senior marketing positions including director of marketing for Music, Personals, and the Yahoo! brand team. In her final year at Yahoo!, she was appointed the interim chief marketing officer in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining Draftfcb San Francisco, Wardein most recently worked at Popular Media, a viral marketing company, where she served as senior vice president leading more than 60 accounts in the social marketing space. Among her many responsibilities, Wardein helped clients increase their online viral sharing and identify key influencers.
