Diddit Selected as Twiistup Showoff

Addictive Life-Experience Discovery and Sharing Site Chosen as One of 10 Startups to Present at Twiistup 6; Hits Record 1.5 Million "Diddits" Checked Off by Users

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - July 28, 2009) - Diddit™, a social site where people discover and share their life experiences, announced that it has been chosen to present in front of a panel of esteemed judges as a 'Showoff' startup at Twiistup 6. One of Southern California's most prominent and well-attended tech events, Twiistup showcases innovation and connects professionals from the worlds of technology, media and entertainment. Twiistup 6 takes place on July 30 and 31, 2009 at the Universal Hilton in Universal City, Calif.

Diddit is one of only ten startups hand selected by Twiistup judges based on: contribution to technology, innovation and entrepreneurship; value and appeal; originality, inspirational and thought-provoking content.

"Twiistup brings together some of the brightest startups with a mix of investors, entrepreneurs and other influencers in the tech and media industry. We're honored to have been selected and excited to present the Diddit experience and community to this prominent group," said Ed Haslam, co-founder of Ludic Labs.

At Diddit.com, users discover new things to do, meet people with similar interests, and share stories about over 400,000 activities and experiences -- from road trip adventures to films about baseball, and everything in between. Diddit members check off activities they've done, their "diddits" (a park visited, museum, ski run, art medium, roller coaster, candy bar, book, etc), keep track of the ones they want to do, and easily share personal stories across the social web on Twitter and Facebook.

"Diddit has already given me some great travel ideas," said member Chad Poulson. "In fact, my wife and I already have plans to go to Yellowstone and Zion with the kids this year." Diddit member Christine Melvin says, "One diddit leads to another, and soon, you've got a collection of all you've done!"

Since the site's public alpha launch in February 2009, over 350,000 people have visited Diddit and have checked off more than 1.5M diddits. The site is proving to be addictive, with engagement levels over 15 minutes per session among registered users.

Ed Haslam, co-founder of Ludic Labs, will be presenting on behalf of Diddit during the Showoffs pitches from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. on July 30, 2009.
