OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 2, 2008) - Media are invited to a ceremony to celebrate the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, Wednesday December 3, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at National Defence headquarters.

The purpose of this important day is to promote a better understanding of disability issues. There will be several kiosks promoting organizations that help and support people with disabilities.

Lieutenant-General Angus Watt, Chief of Air Staff, will be one of the guest speakers at the ceremony.
