DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa Has a TV Reality Star Among Us

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - July 2, 2009) - The popular TV show "Hell's Kitchen" and DC Ranch Village Health Club have something in common -- a superstar chef cooking for them. Coming this fall on Fox's hit show, Sabrina Gressett, Café Manager at DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa, will vie for her chance to run Gordon Ramsey's restaurant in Whistler Canada. The two-hour premier kicks off on Tuesday, July 21 on Channel 10.

Back in November 2008, Sabrina went to Los Angeles and tried out for the show, not sure if anything would come of it. "What did I have to lose?" Sabrina says of her decision to take a chance. "I have watched the show many times, and thought, if these people can make it, I can too." Behind her made up story of 'a complicated procedure' as to why she was away from work, Sabrina was accepted as a show participant and was in LA for a month of taping. "It was wild and intense, unlike anything I have ever done before."

During the tapings, Sabrina was subjected to hours and hours of cooking on demand, being yelled at, crying and wondering what she had gotten herself into. On the show there are two sets of teams, each cooking to the best of their abilities to stay on for another day. Gordon Ramsey's goal is to break the contestants down in an ultimate test of cooking skill as well as mental and personal toughness.

The show has finished taping and is now in edit stages for the premier in July. The outcome of the show is a big secret, as Sabrina won't give anyone any hints. Until the last episode has run and the outcome is revealed, Sabrina has returned to the café at DC Ranch Village Health Club, charming members and guests with her healthy and tasteful creations.
