Cyclone Power Technologies' Green Engine Generates Buzz at SAE World Congress
POMPANO BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - Cyclone Power Technologies Inc.
(PINKSHEETS: CYPW) announced the conclusion of a successful week at the
Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) World Congress in Detroit, one of
the premier conferences of automotive engineers, executives and suppliers
in the world.
"We had some very promising meetings with major automotive manufacturers,
military defense contractors and other large potential licensees of our
technology," stated Harry Schoell, CEO of Cyclone. "We are extremely
encouraged by this response, as should our shareholders be, and hope to see
the fruits of that interest soon."
Management's positive outlook was confirmed by Design News, the leading
technical resource for design engineers, which stated that the "buzz" at
the conference was over Cyclone's external combustion engine. A link to
this April 17 article can be found on the company's web site at:

Mr. Schoell was also featured on Detroit Channel 2 Fox News and, as
previously announced, the company won the AEI Tech 2008 Award which is
presented to companies at the SAE World Congress that demonstrate the most
innovative products.
CORPORATE PROFILE
Cyclone holds the U.S. patent, international patent applications, and
exclusive commercial rights to the Cyclone Engine, an environmentally
friendly and highly efficient external combustion, heat-regenerative
engine. Developed by the company's President and CEO, Harry Schoell, the
Cyclone Engine regenerates (or recycles) its heat, which allows it to run
cleaner, cooler and more efficiently than traditional internal combustion
engines. The Cyclone Engine is capable of running on any liquid or gaseous
fuel, including ethanol, bio-diesel and propane. The company also recently
filed a patent application for its Waste Heat Engine, a low-pressure engine
capable of running on heat emitted from external sources, including the
waste exhaust of a power generator or renewable solar power. Both these
engines are lubricated with de-ionized water instead of motor oil, and by
eliminating many subsystems like oil pumps, radiators, catalytic converters
and fuel injectors, the Cyclone engines are expected to cost less to
manufacture, operate and maintain. The Cyclone Engine is highly scalable
and sufficiently powerful for applications ranging from lawn equipment and
small home generators, large stand-alone generators, to cars, trucks,
buses, RVs, boats and ships, as well as earth moving equipment and
locomotives.
