MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 18, 2010) - Now in its fourth year, Chartwell Seniors Housing (TSX:CSH.UN) is pleased to celebrate the talent, experience and vitality of seniors through its annual Senior Star competition. Open to anyone 65 and over and a Canadian resident, contestants do not have to be living in a Chartwell residence.
Following regional auditions in over 60 locations across Canada, celebrity judges Gordie Tapp, Tim Louis and Dan Clancy have selected 10 finalists from almost 500 performances. We congratulate the following competitors who will now compete in the National Final at the historic Concert Hall at The Carlu in Toronto, Ontario on October 18, 2010:
