Center Bancorp, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend of $.09 per Share

UNION, NJ--(Marketwire - February 29, 2008) - Center Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNBC), parent company to Union Center National Bank of Union, New Jersey, announced at its Board meeting on February 28, 2008, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $.09 per share. This dividend declared is for the quarter ending March 31, 2008. The dividend will be distributed on May 1, 2008, to shareholders of record on April 17, 2008.
