Centennial Woods Leases New Warehouse to Process and House Expanded Inventory

Company Is Working to Reclaim and Process Millions of Feet of Snowfence Materials Into High-End Exterior and Interior Green Building Products

LARAMIE, WY--(Marketwire - September 3, 2009) - Centennial Woods announced today that it has leased a new warehouse to process and inventory the millions of linear feet of snowfence materials that it has been reclaiming in 2009.

"Because of the big increase in the variety and volume of materials that our field crews are now generating, we absolutely had to find a larger and more secure warehouse," said Jesse Butts, Centennial Woods warehouse manager. "This space also lets us process our reclaimed snowfence materials into products more quickly, and increase the quality of our grading and cutting work. The result has been higher quality products for our customers at a lower price."

Centennial Woods reclaims and processes snowfence materials into exterior products like siding and soffit and interior products like flooring, ceiling treatments, trim and wainscoting. The unique wood is also increasingly used for furniture, doors, window trim, cabinets and specialty fixture applications. The wood comes in five basic natural color schemes, in 1x6, 2x6, and 2x8 inch dimensions and in lengths up to 16 feet.

"One ancillary benefit of the new warehouse has been that our customers can now easily visit and select the products and patinas that they would like for their projects," said Grant Porder, product manager at Centennial Woods. "It's a great way to view our myriad of products together before installing them."

The warehouse, located in Laramie, Wyoming, was formerly the headquarters of Rocky Mountain Forest Products, a leading wood trim manufacturer.

About Centennial Woods

Before Centennial Woods began harvesting Wyoming snow fence, older boards were often left on the frame until they failed and then burned or thrown into a landfill when replaced. Centennial Woods discovered the wood's strength and beauty and vowed to rescue and reuse it.

Since 1999, Centennial Woods has been maintaining and reclaiming snowfence from the mountainsides and open prairies of Wyoming to create its line of interior and exterior specialty wood products for residential and commercial use around the world. To support its reclamation mission, Centennial Woods has developed an international market for this green Wyoming export. To date, Centennial Woods has reclaimed 6 million linear feet of Wyoming snowfence, the equivalent of about 105 miles, keeping more than 10,000 tons of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere and saving the state of Wyoming and other entities more than $10 million.

Centennial Woods' reclaimed Wyoming snowfence is naturally dried for decades by the Wyoming wind, which produces an intensely beautiful, perfectly dried, strong and true reclaimed board. Centennial Woods is a member of the US Green Building Council (www.usgbc.org) and is proud to be one of Wyoming's great green product companies. Learn more on the web at www.centennialwoods.com.
