Cascadia and Quippu Stake First Base Metal Property in Southern Peru as Part of the Strategic Alliance Agreement

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 28, 2008) -

NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Cascadia International Resources Inc. ("Cascadia" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:CJ) is pleased to announce that it has staked a 800 hectare base metal property in southern Peru as part of its Strategic Alliance with QUIPPU EXPLORACIONES SAC. ("Quippu"). The area was chosen for staking based on a technical evaluation by Cascadia and Quippu using in-house expertise to target hydrothermal alteration systems commonly associated with large porphyry and skarn type base metal deposits.

This targeting system was developed based on the technical knowledge of porphyry and skarn alteration systems in conjunction with proven success in outlining the alteration systems associated with several known porphyry Cu deposits located in southern Peru. The company has also outlined several other large alteration targets presently located on open ground and plans to complete field evaluations prior to making any further decisions on staking.

Cascadia is very pleased with its progress in establishing an exploration presence in Peru and is looking forward to working with Quippu and its Peruvian exploration team to fast track discoveries in one of the leading base metal producing countries of the world.
