OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2009) - The Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation, will participate in the Haiti Donors' Conference "Toward a New Cooperation Paradigm for Growth & Opportunity" in Washington, D.C., on April 14th, 2009. The Conference, hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), will bring together leaders from over 30 donor countries and multilateral organizations to discuss Haiti's priorities and measures to increase aid effectiveness and donor coordination.

Minister Oda will be available to take questions from journalists during a moderated conference call (call-back) with Canadian media that will take place on Tuesday, April 14th at 13:00 p.m.
