The index is a market-capitalization weighted index of representative companies which are exploring for, or developing, lithium properties as their primary business focus. The component companies are public and traded on the TSX Venture exchange, The Australian Stock Exchange, or the U.S. Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board, and each has a market capitalization of less than USD$500 million.
